Student Profile: Natasha Normand

We have another student profile! Today, we feature Natasha Normand.

-What is your program?

Automotive Technician program

-Who has been your favorite instructor at Western?

I think this is a trick question! I really like ALL of the staff here at the automotive center but if I had to choose one I guess it would be Mr. Adam Remke.

-What do you like about Western?

Here at Western I really enjoy the atmosphere. The staff and students make it a very welcoming environment, which makes it easy to learn.

-Future career goals?

Some of my short-term goals are to of course complete the program with very good grades and obtain a position in the field. I need these short-term goals to be completed so I can set myself up for my long-term or life goal, which I’ve been dreaming about since I was a little girl — opening and operating my own shop!

-Advice for future students?

Motivation, dedication and drive go a long away! If you want something bad enough, you will work as hard as it takes to reach your goal. Set yourself small, achievable goals weekly or evenly daily, to help make yourself better than you were yesterday.

Thank you, Natasha! What a beautiful family! Best of luck in your future goals!
