Western Technical College hosted its inaugural transportation summer camp, NITRO X, for students on July 15-19.
The camp was intended for students entering grades 7-9 and interested in remote control cars and trucks. Students worked on building and modifying a remote-controlled vehicle throughout the week.
On Friday, July 19, students competed in a race with their completed vehicle. Participants also explored career opportunities in the automotive industry, touring various businesses in the area.
Despite the heat on race day, a good time was had by all!
