A number of changes to parking around Western’s La Crosse campus have been made this week.
The City of La Crosse voted last September to implement a pilot, pay-by-phone parking program along several streets near Western’s La Crosse campus, as well as several streets around UW-La Crosse.
Crews with the City have now installed signs to inform drivers of the new changes. The effected areas can be found on La Crosse Police’s Facebook page. The City is using Passport Parking, a smartphone app that allows users to pay for parking in one hour increments. This app can be found on Apple or Android devices. In the meantime, if you wish to park in Western’s lots this summer, you can purchase a summer parking pass for $10 at our Student Life Office, located in the Kumm Center. The pass is good through August 17.
