Western Technical College unveiled its newly remodeled Wellness Center with a ribbon cutting and open house event on Tuesday, Oct. 23.
The new space includes improved lighting, flooring, and fitness equipment. Following the ribbon cutting, Wellness Center staff provided tours of the facility. Door prizes, including a one-year membership, free massage session, and an unlimited pass for group fitness classes for one academic term, will be awarded following the event. The facility was also free for everyone during the day.
“We know that health and wellness help improve the success of our students, staff, and our community,” said Ryan Monroe, manager of the Wellness Center at Western. “This new facility will allow our staff to provide our campus community the tools they need to live healthier lives.”
