We have another staff profile! Today, we feature Niall Kader! He recently received an email from a former student: “It is easy to see that you give your all in each of your classes and have a genuine interest in the success of each of your students.”
-What do you do on campus?
I teach in the IT-Web and Software Developer program.
-Where is your favorite place at Western?
I spend most of my time in room B25, which is where I teach most of my classes. I also love the Union Market for the great food and atmosphere.
-What are your hobbies?
I play bass guitar, and enjoy spending time with my three boys. I spend a lot of my free time programming websites as well.
-Advice for students?
I have two pieces of advice. First, study something that you are passionate about, it will make your education, career, and life so much more interesting. Second, find out about the resources that are available to you at Western. I’m amazed by all the great support we offer our students, there are so many that it’s hard to keep track them all. For example, I recently had a student tell me she was having trouble with managing her time. So I looked into it and found out that we have someone here at Western who can help students to manage their time.
Thank you for everything that you do, Niall!
