Western Technical College and local various employers are teamed up to host a part-time and internship career fair on Wednesday, September 26, at the Lunda Center.
Over 40 employers, including Creative Community Living Services, Allied Cooperative, and Logistics Health, Inc. were on hand to speak with students about part-time and internship opportunities.
“With our region’s job shortage, networking and creating relationships with local employers are critical in finding employment opportunities for students down the road,” said Barb Kelsey, Career Services manager at Western. “Career fairs are a chance for students and alumni to meet face-to-face with potential employers to learn more about their organization and the positions that they have available.”
The event was free and open to the public. Organizers say turnout and reception was well received.
