Staff Profile: Nicole Miller

We have another staff profile! Today, we feature Nicole Miller.

-What do you do on campus?

I am a Criminal Justice instructor in our Criminal Justice associate degree program and I’m also a Master Instructor Trainer for our Jail and Police Academies in Defensive Tactics (use of force).

-Where is your favorite place at Western

My favorite places on campus are the class room for our Criminal Justice Program and our defensive tactics room at our Public Safety Campus in Sparta.

-What are your hobbies?

My favorite hobby is golfing followed by watching Packee football, University of North Carolina Tar Heel basketball, camping, and spending time with family and friends.

-Advice for students?

Criminal Justice Students:  Western is an excellent foundation for your future success in the profession of criminal justice.

Police Academy: Don’t ever become bad case law and make sure to hold the line and protect your six and the six of your brothers and sisters in blue.

Jail Academy: Always remember respect is earned not given.
