Western Technical College’s Financial Aid department is hosting a series of workshops designed to help assist students through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) process.
The workshops, called FAFSA Frenzy, will have trained Financial Aid staff available to help fill out a FAFSA form. No appointment is needed. As a result, the office will no longer be offering 1:1 FAFSA filing appointments.
Students interested in the workshops should bring the following: FASA ID, Social Security number, 2016 federal income tax returns or other records of money earned or received (for 2018-19 FAFSA), a recent bank statement and recent record of investments. For dependent students, the information listed above also applies to parents, including date of birth and martial status.
The workshops will take place on the following dates:
Tuesday, July 24, 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in B119
