Last week, Western featured some of our great apprentices! For example, Kish and Son’s electrician Ryan Schultz! Here’s a Q&A.
What drew you to the program?
“It’s hands-on. I’ll be a second generation electrician. My dad is an electrician, so I’ve seen the benefits to it.”
Why did you decide to become an electrician specifically?
“You always have to think about what you’re doing. You can’t just be willy-nilly about it.”
Why should others join the apprenticeship program?
“The benefits are great. You get paid to sit in class for eight hours. You can make over one-hundred grand when you get out, including benefits.”
